Last year we contacted you looking to purchase your High Density (94%) exterior window shades. We went with the light color ones that are close to the RV Siding color. After receiving our screens and installing them, I decided to do a temperature test without the shades and with the shades. I decided to take the temperature of the frame on the hot/sunny side of the RV from the inside of the RV. There is a substantial difference in the two temperatures. (The temperature without the shades was 129 degrees, and the temperature with the shades was only 84 degrees!) Wow! Also, now the AC does not kick on until almost high noon, whereas before installing the exterior shades the AC would come on between 9AM and 10AM. Well worth the investment!

I ordered last Thursday over the Phone with Cyndy, for the windshield cover, and 2 front window covers. Opted for 94%, Black, with the snap button. Im glad I went with the snap (only had to drill one for each snap). My coach have a combination of fiberglass (front) and metal on the sides. I had to used the smaller drill for the pilot hole. Had to make the hole bigger using the 1/8 drill bit. Be careful if your coach is fiberglass. I would go with the 1/8 drill bit… and make it a “bit” wider. Not too big, that the screw will NOT have something to hold on to. I learned from the first 2 holes I made, that when the hole is on the smaller side, the screw “chips” away some of the fiberglass (as you tighten the screw). So on the following holes I drilled, I made the hole a “bit” bigger. I then applied a Silicon Sealant to the hole, AND covered the thread with the same sealant. As you turn the screw in, the sealant will seep out from the bottom, making a round SEAL on the screw head perimeter. Took me and my son about 2 hours to install. Slow, but sure. Measure twice, drill once.
I like the 94%. You cannot see from the outside during daytime. I’m sure you can be seen at night. You just have to pull the curtains. From the inside, you can see the outside view. Very pleased with these product.

Just what we needed to combat the fierce Southern California Sun. We ordered white for maximum reflection as well as the highest (94%) block. I had a minor problem with the side windows, but it was immediately addressed and the correct panels sent the next day. OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a concept? I installed them following the online directions and it was a very straight forward process.

When the cover arrived it was way too big. Called them right away and I took measurements of windshield over the phone just to make sure the next one will fit. I own a 1995 Newmar Dutch Star and I guess there’s 3 different sizes. There was a very helpful lady who answered the phone and didn’t hesitate to step up to the plate and send out another one. Thank you so much, and it fits perfect !!

We decided to order our Sunguard windshield covers because we stay in Florida for the winter months and our rv would get very warm in the afternoon, also wanted the privacy provided. We received our windshield covers quickly and were excited to do the install. We began by installing the main front windshield piece. Our main piece seemed to come up a little short and we could not stretch it to go below the main windshield rubber gasket so the lower snaps could not connect. A little disappointed at this point we continued with the side window covers, they installed easily and perfectly. We contacted the company with pictures and email and they responded quickly. We told them my covers were coming up 2 inches short, they immediately made us a new piece and sent it to us. We now have a perfectly fit windshield cover and it looks very attractive, we have had many compliments. Also, our rv is now much cooler and the privacy is amazing, we can see out but they can’t see in!! Thank you Sunguard for being an upstanding company and standing behind your product, we will happily give your name to anyone that asks.

We love it! Easy to set up using the directions provided. We had ours all put up in about an hr. and 1/2. Really cuts out the AZ heat. Fits snug. We ordered white to achieve the best reflection possible. We like that we can see out, but others can’t see in. This was a great way to make our full-time RV home more comfortable.
